Online card payments are processed through the Barion system. The merchant does not have access to the card details. The service provider, Barion Payment Zrt., is supervised by the Hungarian National Bank, license number: H-EN-I-1064/2013.

1. Purpose of the Data Management Policy

It commits to ensuring that all data management related to its activities complies with the expectations set out in this policy, national legislation, and the legal acts of the European Union.

C-RT Media Kft. selects and operates the IT tools used for personal data processing in such a way that the processed data is:

  • Protected against unauthorized access (data confidentiality).

C-RT Media Kft. takes appropriate measures to protect data from unauthorized access, alteration, transmission, disclosure, deletion, or destruction, and to prevent accidental destruction.

It ensures the following during data management:

  • Confidentiality: protecting information so only those authorized have access,
  • Integrity: safeguarding the accuracy and completeness of the information and the processing methods,
  • Availability: ensuring that authorized users can access the information they need when required, along with the related tools.

3.4.1 Purpose of Cookies

  • Collect information about visitors and their devices,
  • Remember individual settings of visitors, which may be reused during online transactions, so there’s no need to re-enter them,

5. Purpose, Method, and Legal Basis of Data Processing

5.1 General Data Processing Principles

C-RT Media Kft. processes data based on voluntary consent or statutory authorization. For data processing based on voluntary consent, individuals may withdraw their consent at any time during the data processing. In certain cases, legal provisions may require the processing, storage, or transmission of some data, in which case customers will be informed separately.

We remind individuals who provide data to C-RT Media Kft. that if they provide someone else’s personal data, it is their responsibility to obtain the consent of the data subject.

The data management principles are in accordance with current data protection regulations, including:

  • Act CXII of 2011 – on the right to informational self-determination and freedom of information (Infotv.),
  • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council (April 27, 2016) – on the protection of natural persons regarding personal data processing and the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR),
  • Act V of 2013 – on the Civil Code (Ptk.),
  • Act C of 2000 – on accounting (Accounting Act),
  • Act LIII of 2017 – on preventing and combating money laundering and terrorist financing (AML Act),
  • Act CCXXXVII of 2013 – on credit institutions and financial enterprises (Credit Institutions Act).
